Global civil society activity in Norway
Norway, formally the Kingdom of Norway, is a Nordic country in Northern Europe, situated on the Scandinavian Peninsula. The remote Arctic island of Jan Mayen and the archipelago of Svalbard also form part of Norway. Bouvet Island, located in the Subantarctic, is a dependency; Norway also claims the Antarctic territories of Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land. The capital and largest city in Norway is Oslo.

Norway Convention Bureau
website: https://www.visitnorway.com/meetings/services/bureaus/Norway boasts modern conference venues close to nature and a wide array of incentive activities that make for truly memorable meetings. If you are looking for an event guaranteed to inspire, invigorate and re-energise, you will find Norway is a natural choice.
Unique experiences
Norway offers a wealth of exciting incentive programmes for both small and large groups, and provides itineraries with a real sense of adventure and memorable activities that will stay with participants long after they return back home. Whether dog sledding under the northern lights, golfing in the midnight sun or spotting polar bears on Svalbard, an incentive meeting in Norway never fails to impress.
Stunning nature
Norway also boasts conference and meeting venues with nature right on their doorstep, bringing visitors closer to the great outdoors than any other destination. A great diversity of landscapes awaits, from deep fjords and rugged mountain peaks to vast snowy plateaus and a coastline dotted with thousands of islands. So wherever you choose to hold your event, you can expect a stunning backdrop.
A year-round destination
Norway is a year-round destination with warm summer days and a temperate winter climate (not as cold as many believe, thanks to the influence of the Gulf Stream), meaning you can hold your conference or event here whatever the season. The midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in winter will lend your event an additional, unique dimension.

Stavanger Forum
website: http://www.stavanger-forum.noStavanger Forum is one of Norway's few conference and exhibition centres, able to offer 25 meeting rooms with capacities from 10 to 1 707 people and roughly 15 000 square metres of stand space. As Stavanger's only professional congress organiser (PCO), we have organised and hosted a number of national and international events.
We celebrate our 30th anniversary in April 2011. We possess the largest auditorium in Rogaland county, able to seat 1 707 people. It can be split into three smaller auditoria, and can accommodate 864 people for a banquet with long tables. Combined with our 690-square-metre indoor plaza, Forum Torg, these dimensions give us exciting opportunities to stage large and more demanding events.
The Rica Forum Hotel, with 182 rooms, is part of the same complex as our conference centre, and we cooperate with all the hotels in the region.
