1960, as the Asian Regional Federation of C-XC1857 - International Federation of Catholic Medical Associations. 1st Congress: 1960, Manila (Philippines).
Aims
Coordinate efforts of Catholic medical associations in the study and spread of Christian principles throughout the medical profession in general; encourage development of such associations in all countries of Asia to assist Catholic physicians in moral and spiritual development and in academic advancement; take part in general development of the medical profession and promote health and social work in accordance with Christian principles; study and report on problems confronting Catholic medical professionals in Asia.
