1974. Previously also referred to as Arab Youth Federation (AYF).
Aims
Seek, defend and protect youth issues represented in political, socioeconomic and cultural rights; defend fundamental political freedom of Arab youth; defend Arab youth rights for equal access to education, training, employment, health, housing and proper development; encourage and promote youth initiatives; support and encourage youth activities in the fields of technology, science, arts, literature, sports, voluntary services, environmental activities and issues related to the spirit of initiative and creativity among young people; foster Arab solidarity through dialogue and rejecting all sort of violence and extremism; enlarge and develop Arab youth relations between regional and international youth organizations and national councils and organizations.
