History
Current constitution adopted at 8th Congress, Jun 2009, Brussels (Belgium). Since 1 Jan 2010, merged with European branch of B-XB2374 - Public Services International (PSI), and thus functions as its regional federation.
Aims
Coordinate activities of affiliated trade unions, work for attainment of equal rights and opportunities and promote representation of common interests in the fields of economic and social policy within European institutions; promote solidarity and understanding among all European public service trade union organizations; develop appropriate industrial relations systems for public service employees and negotiate agreements at a European level; assist trade unions in applicant countries in the EU enlargement process.
