27 Nov 1978, Makkah, by C-XC4378 - Muslim World League (MWL), at its 20nd session. Endorsed by the Saudi government, 29 Jan 1979. Full title: International Islamic Relief Organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (IIROSA).
Aims
Noting that 80% of refugees and victims worldwide are Muslim, as a humanitarian, nongovernmental, non-political organization, serve victims of natural disasters and wars - orphans, refugees and destitute people - worldwide, regardless of their ethnic, linguistic or religious background.
