24 May 1976, as Pacific Islanders' Educational Resource Centre. Officially opened, 9 Sep 1978. Subsequently changed title to PIERC Education, 1993. Current title adopted, May 2004.
Aims
Promote life-long learning for Pacific people in the Adult and Community Education (ACE) sector; facilitate the provision of initiatives and programmes to retain Pacific culture and promote the use of Pacific languages.
