Founded as a consortium of worldwide support groups. Formalized in 1993. No activities reported since 2019.
Aims
Reduce secrecy, stigma and taboo around Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS) and other intersex conditions; encourage provision of psychological support within the medical system; increase contacts between families and individuals; increase availability of information on AIS; encourage research and improvements in treatment for vaginal hypoplasia.
