History

Founded by representatives of the historic peace Churches of the Mennonites and the Brethren, F-XC2050 - International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR) and European Christians who advocate non-violence.

Aims

Promote peace and better understanding among peoples by combating poverty, falsely-directed development, social injustice, political tensions and cultural oppression, in a non-violent and ecumenical spirit based on love of one's neighbour and in willingness to face the consequences of acting non-violently; encourage the building of democratic civilian societies in which non-violent means of conflict resolution replace violent confrontation.
