Founded on merger of H-XD2645 - Association of European Manufacturers of Instantaneous Gas Water Heaters and Wall-Hung Boilers and the previous EHI (2000-2002), which founded 30 Jun 2000, Cologne (Germany), as a merger of H-XD3512 - European Heating Boilers Association (EBA) and H-XD0645 - European Committee of Burner Manufacturers.

Represent the joint technical and economic interests of the heating industry towards the European Commission, European Parliament and other EU institutions.
