Albert J. Menkveld and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam are proud to organize the 50th Annual Meeting of the European Finance Association. The meeting will be held August 16-19 August, 2023. The EFA 2023 will host a panel of Nobel laureates to celebrate the 50th Annual Meeting. The panel will discuss the next 50 years of financial economics. Albert J. EFA welcomes Marcin Kacperczyk as Managing Editor of the Review of Finance for a three year term starting January 1, 2023. Marcin Kacperczyk is Professor of Finance at Imperial College London. He is past president of the European Finance Association and was Conference Chair of the EFA Annual Meeting in 2018.

Josef Zechner is Professor of Finance and Investments at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), speaker of the PhD program and Co-Head of Research Institute for Capital Markets (ISK).

In 2022, facing the new challenges posed by Covid-19 epidemic, and adhering to the purpose of “Communication & Cooperation, Development with Concerted Efforts”, International Silk Union (ISU) maintained close contact with relevant government departments, industry organizations, enterprises and colleges, so as to serve the development of the international silk industry. There were Eleven aspects of work have been carried out in a targeted manner, making positive contributions to promoting the sustainable development of the silk industry.

KTO Hosts Forum Seeking Ways to Revitalize Local MICE Industry

The Korea Tourism Organization (President Kim Jang-sil) held a ‘MICE Industry Revitalization Forum’ on December 19 at the Commodore Hotel in Busan, together with the Office of Representative Hwangbo Seung-hee of the National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee and Busan Metropolitan City.
