More than 20 innovative and informative workshops sessions, interactive discussions and impactful networking prospects will comprise the Environment, Culture, Economy and Society international Seminars themed Capacity Building and Sustainability Enhancement, presented by The Earth Alliance Institute. Participants will be exposed to a variety of innovative solutions to common problems faced in the sustainable development sector and beyond, and gained tools for finding new ways to approach and solve their organization's challenges.

The Earth Alliance Institute is conducting Capacity Building Training Seminars designed for people who plan to work or volunteer in community development, or who already work in this field and want to advance their careers. The Earth Alliance Institute uses as its basis, a framework of rights-based development and The Earth Alliance Institute Approach. This multi-sectoral, participatory approach focuses on the empowerment of people as both the ends and means of a genuine sustainable development process. We are training and consulting with organizations from around the world.

Overview:

This program uses a multi-sector, participatory approach that focuses on empowerment of people as both the ends and means of a sustainable development process. Rather than teaching prescriptive solutions to community problems, we provide you with the tools to use the community's input and vision to create options and solutions that truly meet community needs. The program helps you learn through case studies, exercises, and group discussions, providing a complete learning environment. You will learn from, and share experiences with, practitioners working in the field around the world. This program gives experienced practitioners a fresh perspective and provides novices and volunteers the training they need to be successful working in the field of development.

Description:
This year, we are keen on further increasing the number of participants by proposing an even more attractive, innovative and focused program that handles all the aspects of sustainable development and capacity strengthening.

More than 20 courses will be offered during the training event including:
Microfinance and the Role of Women, Local Communities and Climate Change
Mitigation Strategies, Social Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development,
Financial Management, Fundraising Techniques etc. The complete courses list and

We expect participants from: Governments and International Organizations, Civil Society, the Business Public and Private Sectors, Academics Institutions and Leaders and Private Individuals amongst others.

Attendance Sponsorship Request Approval Notification:
The workshops organizers receive financial support from private individuals, philanthropists, foundations, banks, and international non-governmental organizations for the participation of the middle and low income countries' delegates (World Bank classification).

We are therefore pleased to inform you that your request for attendance scholarship to support your participation in the events has been approved by the Organizing Committee. As a result, upon finalization of your registration with the submission of the evidence of the payment of the registration fee, you will benefit from a sponsorship package including flight tickets from your country of residence to New York City, USA and vice versa, accommodation, per diem, meals and refreshment for the entire workshops duration. What is covered?
The Workshop Attendance Sponsorship covers the following:
- Travel (pre-paid airfare at the lowest fare available, from the nearest international airport);
- Accommodation (budget hotel for the days of the workshops);
- Per Diem allowance (daily living allowance for the duration of the workshops);
- Workshops kits.
Please note the sponsorship package does not cover the registration fees. All fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the events and registration submitted
without payment will not be processed; the workshops organizers do not assume responsibility for cost other than the ones listed above.
Workshops Logistics:
Upon finalization of your registration with the submission of the payment details of the registration fee, and as part of your attendance sponsorship package, the
Logistics Department will prepare and dispatched to you via express courier DHL the conference documents and materials including:
- visa documentation;
- official invitation letter;
- travel documents;
- economy class flight tickets;
- flight schedule;
- affidavit of support;
- hotel booking receipt;
- individual electronic and computerized badges;
- detailed programme of the events
Due to time constraints and organizational imperatives, we strongly recommend that you finalize your registration without further delay to enable us to act swiftly in enrolling you in our confirmed delegate's list and dispatch the workshops documentation and materials to you via priority express DHL courier.
