Founded 21 Dec 1946, Los Angeles CA (USA). International Statutes ratified 1 Aug 1954; revised: Apr 1968; Sep 1985; Aug 1995. Subtitles: International New Age Consortium of Institutions of Learning; World Commonwealth of Education, Science and Culture. As of 2016, assumed ceased to exist.

Aims

Create a non-traditional, experiential, tutorial university as a world commonwealth of education, science and culture, with regional colleges in 12 principle world areas; publish scientific and literary works of outstanding merit; exchange students and teachers on a world scale; prepare students for peace corps activities worldwide; promote peace and understanding between peoples as the foundation for world order under world law.

Structure

International World Assembly (annual international conference) of individual and institutional members. International Board of Trustees (meeting annually), comprises 13 members. International Secretariat in Benson AZ (USA). Regional Offices (7): Italy; Japan; Nigeria; Brazil; Argentina; Indonesia; South Africa. National delegations in most major countries. Functioned as parent body to U-XF4581 - World University (WU), set up 15 Dec 1967. Other regional colleges: U-XK2045 - Design, Technology and Management Society International (DTMSI); U-XJ7171 - Southeast Asian Regional College - Computer and Internet Technology - of the World University, Dhaka; U-XK2308 - West African Regional College of the World University, Enugu (WARC).
