Project proposal under the European Commission 7th Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration

Full title: The International Repository of Third Sector Networks and Trends: a longitudinal and comparative network analysis of sector change, innovation and success in Europe and beyond (IRTSNT)

This project was launched in UIA's 100th year in tribute to Paul Otlet and Henri La Fontaine, the co-founders of the UIA. They were both pioneers in seeking international dialogue, and devoted peace activists.

In the summer of 2004, the UIA partnered with the Europhil Trust to edit, publish and host its Civil Society Glossary.

Europhil is a UK charity, registered on 21 July 1986 in London as European affiliate of International Standing Conference on Philanthropy (INTERPHIL). Europhil aims to promote research on the law and practice of member states relating to non-governmental agencies for the public benefit in and for Europe, i.e. European philanthropy.
