We were saddened to hear of the passing of Bernard Lietaer yesterday. Lietaer was internationally known for his promotion of alternative currencies, the topic of his book The Future of Money. We are grateful for the support he gave UIA as an Active Member since 2005. We will miss him.

The Second WHO Africa Health Forum

Health Forum. The Government of Cabo Verde and the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa will jointly host The Second WHO Africa Health Forum on the theme: Achieving Universal Health Coverage and Health Security in Africa: The Africa we want to see.

The Forum is a unique opportunity to strengthen collaboration between WHO and its stakeholders on Africa’s health agenda. It will facilitate engagement with all partners to kick start new partnerships for improving the health of Africans across the region.
