Aims
Provide investment support for water management programmes and projects in Africa; accelerate development, approval and implementation of integrated water management plans; facilitate commitment of additional funds to the water sector in Africa.
Structure
Council comprising 5 representatives from E-XE4596 - African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW), 5 representatives from partner/donor agencies, 1 representative from E-XK2193 - New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), 1 representative from UN Water/Africa and 1 representative of F-XF0018 - African Development Bank (ADB).
