History
Founded on adoption of a provisional Constitution which had been agreed at 1st International Congress, 1960, Stockholm (Sweden). Most recent statutes adopted 18 Aug 1978, Edinburgh (UK); modified 29 Aug 1986, Bern (Switzerland), Aug 2002, Buenos Aires (Argentina), Aug 2006, Helsinki (Finland) and Aug 2009, Utrecht (Netherlands).
Aims
Organize periodic academic meetings, and in particular, international congresses of economic history.
