History
31 Dec 1979, on dissolution of H-XH2813 - International Wholesale and Foreign Trade Centre. Registered in accordance with Belgian law, 3 Sep 1980. Ceased to exist 1 Jan 1998, when merged with D-XD3738 - EuroCommerce.
Aims
Study and defend the general interests of the wholesale and international trade; coordinate the position taken by national and international trade associations in order, as far as possible, to speak with one voice to political and economic institutions of Europe and other international organizations; elaborate a common wholesale and international trade policy so as to contribute to European and global economic integration and expansion of trade.
