History

1803, Vannes (France), by Marie-Louise Elisabeth de Lamoignon, widow of Count Molé de Champlâtreux - in religion Mother Saint-Louis Molé, in connection with Mgr Maynaud de Pancemont, bishop of Vannes, as a Roman Catholic congregation of women. Final pontifical approval given in 1840.

Aims

Evangelize through participation in the teaching mission of the Church, particularly among the poor; provide education; provide spiritual retreats; carry out such activities as care of the sick and the aged.
