Founded under the auspices of UNESCO, following 1st International Conference on Information Processing, June 1959, Paris (France), also under the sponsorship of UNESCO.
Aims
Provide a meeting place for IT societies' members to share experience and discuss challenges and opportunities; contribute to, and often lead, progress in state-of-the-art knowledge and practice.
