History
Feb 1976, Caracas (Venezuela), by Resolution 263/76 of U-XE5792 - Inter-American Council for Education, Science and Culture. Originally functioned under the auspices of CIECC, with support of the Venezuelan government and the D-XD3030 - OAS. Currently solely supported by the Government of Venezuela.
Aims
Provide support to governments of member states in conducting research on the application of educational planning and administration, training of personnel, and processing and exchange of information.
Structure
Board of Directors, presided by the Minister of Education of Venezuela and including representatives of supporting multilateral cooperation institutions.
