Set up on the initiative of D-XD0696 - Conférence européenne des administrations des postes et des télécommunications (CEPT) and in response to the Green Paper on development of telecommunications in Europe published by the E-XE2442 - European Commission (EC). Most recent Statutes adopted, by General Assembly, 22 Nov 2000. Most recent Rules of Procedure adopted by General Assembly, 18 Apr 2002.
