1992, as International Society for Global Health Policy -- Société internationale pour une politique globale de santé. Registered in accordance with French law. Headquarters in Paris (France). Also registered in the State of New York (USA), 30 May 1996.
Aims
Promote global discussion and dialogue among experts in order to monitor, study and make recommendations about major global health issues; understand and evaluate the social, economic, political and cultural impact of global health policy; influence at a global level organizations and individuals involved in such policy; develop an integrated, multicultural approach to issues concerning disease, human behaviour, quality of life and longevity.
