Aims
Advance the rights and status of girls worldwide; links grassroots organizations to each other, to the international community and UN system and strengthen their capacity to advocate collectively and effectively with their own governments on behalf of girls; promote active participation of girls as leaders, decision makers and agents of change in their own lives and in their families, communities and societies; focus on implementation of government commitments made at Beijing (China) as a goal in itself and as a mobilizing tool.
