First General Assembly: 1952, Paris (France). Amendments to constitution: May 2000, Boston MA (USA); May 2013, Amman (Jordan). Registered in accordance with Swiss law. Subsequently registered in Austria, according to special law on IPI of 26 Jun 1992.
Aims
Further and safeguard media freedom - free access to news, free expression of views, free publication of newspapers; achieve understanding among journalists and so among peoples; promote free exchange of accurate and balanced news among nations; improve the practice of journalism.
