Promote cooperation among all opposed to experiments causing pain and/or suffering to animals, including processes carried out for scientific, medical, cosmetic, industrial, agricultural or any other purpose; awaken the conscience of mankind to the iniquity of such experiments and obtain legislation totally prohibiting them; encourage the development and adoption of humane, alternative methods of research and treatment.
