Previously operated jointly by A-XA2590 - International Statistical Institute (ISI) - as part of its 'International Statistical Education Programme (ISEP)' - and Indian Statistical Institute.
Currently operated by Indian Statistical Institute under the auspices of Indian Government.
Aims
Provide courses in theoretical and applied statistics at various levels to selected participants from the countries of the Middle East, South and South-East Asia, Pacific area and the Commonwealth countries of Africa and other developing countries.
