Aims
Avert desertification process throughout Kenya through planting of trees; promote environment conservation and sustainable development; promote indigenous trees and shrubs; promote planting of multipurpose trees with special reference to nutritional requirements of man and his livestock; encourage soil conservation and land reclamation through tree planting; develop methods for rational land use; create self-employment opportunities, especially for handicapped persons; create income-generating activity for rural women; develop a sustainable methodology for rural development.
