History
Oct 1990, Vienna (Austria), at 2nd European Workshop for AIDS Service Organizations, when Charter was adopted, having been initiated Oct 1989, Vienna, at 1st Workshop. An integral part of and regional office for C-XC0013 - ICASO. Replaced by E-XM0864 - AIDS Action Europe.
Aims
Promote exchange of experience, skills and information among AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs) in Europe; assist in the development of new programmes and new ASOs; advocate at national and international level the rights of individuals and communities affected by HIV and AIDS; provide a resource of information and expertise for bodies with responsibilities in the fields of prevention and health care.
