Aims
Function as an institutional base for study of all aspects of civil aviation and tourism, including management; act as a think tank for promoting an objective, realistic and innovative approach to policies in civil aviation and tourism; disseminate knowledge and exchange information through appropriate channels; serve as a resource centre and databank for matters relating to civil aviation and tourism; identify, highlight and promote the interest of the traveller and other consumers connected with civil aviation and tourism; study and sketch the scope and pattern of sustainable growth in tourism that would be in harmony with the socio-cultural and ecological milieu; act as an anchor and catalyst in order to maximize the availability of technological and managerial resources in developing countries of the world in the field of civil aviation and tourism; act as a bridge for North-South cooperation in the field.
