Nov 1985, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), at 2nd Consultative Conference when Constitution was ratified and Programme of Activities adopted, following decision of 1st Consultative Conference of Permanent/Principal Secretaries responsible for Manpower Development and Directors/Principals of Management Training Institutions of Eastern and Southern Africa, Nov 1984, Harare (Zimbabwe). Came within F-XF5983 - OneWorld International Foundation (OWIF).

Aims

Enhance the development of institutional management and faculty skills and competences; provide a forum for pooling of management thought in the region and for discussion by management development institutions of issues pertinent to management development and improvement in managerial performance within the region; facilitate the furtherance of the management development profession, in liaison with African leadership, and its contribution to socio-economic development of the region.
