Since 1907, the UIA has specialized in the collection of a vast amount of data on international organizations. The sources of the data include the Yearbook of International Organizations and the International Congress Calendar.
The Yearbook dataset includes over 65,000 active and inactive international associations worldwide. The Calendar dataset includes over 370,000 international meetings of these bodies, organized from 1851 to the present, and also far into the future. UIA’s databases are continuously updated. The data are structured, comprehensive and concise. The structured framework enables extensive comparison and focused extraction.
This rich resource of current and past data allows us to make valuable comparisons and analyses of trends in this field of research.
