In 2017, both the International Care Ethics Observatory of the University of Surrey (UK) and the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law of the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) will organize the 18th Nursing Ethics Conference and the 3rd International Ethics in Care Conference. An excellent occasion to reflect on future challenges and opportunities of ethics in nursing and care.
The conference will take place in Leuven on September 15-16, 2017. The focus of the conference is on:
- Ethical Issues in Care for Older Adults
- Ethics Education in Nursing and Care
- Ethical Issues in End-of-Life Care
- Organizational Ethical Issues in Nursing and Care
Persons wishing to present a paper at parallel sessions are invited to submit an abstract addressing the ethical dimensions of the main conference topics (500 words maximum) before March 1, 2017. However, submissions on other topics are allowed. Please send abstracts to Chris.Gastmans@kuleuven.be.
