Nadia McLaren
I am an ecologist concerned with how natural, social and knowledge systems interact. My current enthusiasms are in the fields of sustainable livelihoods and lifestyles; holistic health and well-being (human and planetary); social entrepreneurship (methods-that-work), learning-through-doing (action learning and action research); knowledge management and know-how sharing; pattern language; semantic networks; collaborative leadership / collective intelligence; dialogue processes; and technologies for community building and accelerated learning. I have been an independent consultant for almost 30 years, acting as a strategic adviser, project coordinator, knowledge manager and futures ecologist. My mode of work is process-driven, inter-disciplinary, inter-sectoral, networked and computer-aided. I have an international network of contacts, with European and Australian highlights.
